  • Initial release. BlankComic is now live as a free, browser-based comic panel creator.
  • Panel layout engine. Drag, resize, and split panels freely across the canvas.
  • Speech bubbles. Multiple styles: round, jagged, thought clouds, whisper, and more.
  • Text & captions. Add narration boxes and sound effects with comic-style font support.
  • Character library. Save and reuse character color palettes across your pages.
  • Multi-page support. Manage full comic issues with the page strip panel.
  • Export. Export pages as PNG, PDF, or SVG at print-ready resolution.
  • Autosave. All work is automatically saved to browser IndexedDB.
  • Light & dark mode. Full support for both themes with a toggle in the header.
  • Mobile support. Touch-optimised controls and a bottom navigation bar for phones and tablets.
  • Keyboard shortcuts. Full shortcut set for power users — press Ctrl+? to see all.
  • Rulers & guides. Pixel-level rulers and alignment snapping for precise layouts.
