By using BlankComic, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain language — no legalese.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BlankComic ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
BlankComic is a free, browser-based comic panel creation tool. The Service is provided "as is" and may be updated or modified at any time. Features may be added, changed, or removed without notice.
3. Your Content
You own everything you create. All comic pages, panels, speech bubbles, and text you create using BlankComic are your intellectual property. BlankComic makes no claim over your creative work.
Since your content is stored locally in your browser and never transmitted to our servers, we have no access to it. Exporting and backing up your work is your responsibility.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to create content that:
- Infringes any third-party copyright, trademark, or intellectual property right
- Is illegal under applicable laws
- Constitutes harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse of individuals
Since BlankComic is a client-side tool and your content stays on your device, these restrictions apply to how you distribute or publish exported content, not to its creation in private.
5. Free to Use
BlankComic is currently free to use with no subscription required. We reserve the right to introduce paid features or plans in the future. Core functionality will remain accessible at no cost.
6. No Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Service will be available at all times
- The Service will be free from bugs, errors, or data loss
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
We strongly recommend exporting your work regularly to avoid loss from browser data clearing, updates, or technical issues.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BlankComic and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data.
8. Third-Party Content
The Service loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your use of those fonts is governed by the SIL Open Font License (OFL) for individual fonts, and your network request is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
